A small sample of material from the past few months. These songs (with the exception of some elements of "Gesture of Motivation") were created without the use of a digital audio workstation, instead being recorded live. They are rough and imperfect. I wanted to create something that was more fluid in its expressiveness without diving through menus, quantizing everything to "perfection", mixing it the utmost clarity, only for it to end up on my hard drive never to see the light of day because of some minute "flaw'. Instead, I hoped to make something more emotive, present and imperfect, a way to process the loss, change and adaptation in my life the past few years.

I performed everything on this album using The WombaTone - a portable synth and drum machine recording box that I put together with the help of some friends. I also played guitar on "Gesture of Motivation".
Stops Along the Way - recorded March 2020, Ottawa,
Gestures of Motivation - recorded April, 2020, Toronto,
Winds on a Quiet Street, recorded June 2020, Wasaga Beach.
Thank you to: Marcus and Jason for their help with the WombaTone. Daniel, Kew, Carlo for listening to the tunes. Guy for the support, Emily for the love and patience.
The WombaTone was constructed in honour of my dad, and everything created on it has his love of music, playfulness and encouragement at its heart, and always will.
